Fifths is a BMP Style Fuzz with a blend-able harmonizing fifth above. A simple and intuitive control set is great for high gain shoe-gaze or creative leads. Roll the guitar volume down for subtile break up at lower gain settings. This is truly an all-around pedal you need in your arsenal.

Volume - Controls overall master volume of the pedal

Fifths - Rotating CW engages a digital harmonizing Fifth above - CCW removes the harmonizer and leaves you with subtle modulation blending with the distortion

Sustain - Controls the overall Gain of the circuit

Suggested Pairings:

Fifths works great with compression before OR after. With compression before, Rich harmonics are brought front and center for a nice chorus or verse tone. With compression after, it squashes some of the clipped signal to smooth out chordal transitions and heavy strumming. Fifths also works great with extra chorus, vibrato, and even phaser after it for a huge and wide sound - try this with two amps!! As always with any Big Muff style circuit, pushing the front end with a Tube Screamer or Boost will give it more character. Lastly, use an EQ pedal before or after Fifths to really sculpt the sound you want from it.

My name is Trey, I currently live in and operate out of New Orleans, LA.

I do a bit of professional touring as a Lighting Designer, and Backline Tech, but during covid I made a pivot and took coding courses in data analytics, hoping to one day transfer those skills into dsp audio/instrument design which i am currently pursuing.

I primarily play drums, but I love guitar as well, and gear in general, which lead me to building pedals. You can find some of my American Primitive Ambient inspired finger-style songs on streaming platforms under FJ Bourgeois.

I've been exploring with pedals for a while now, building out of necessity for my own board like many others have. I love experimenting with parts to get something as unique as possible. I design everything myself from conception to the final product, as well as breadboarding, testing, assembling, and packaging everything by hand.

I put tons of hours into this because I love it, and I love being a part of the community. I strive to build as good of a product as I can with a uniqueness that is my own and speaks of my experiences.
