Suggested Pairings:
Fifths works great with compression before OR after. With compression before, Rich harmonics are brought front and center for a nice chorus or verse tone. With compression after, it squashes some of the clipped signal to smooth out chordal transitions and heavy strumming. Fifths also works great with extra chorus, vibrato, and even phaser after it for a huge and wide sound - try this with two amps!! As always with any Big Muff style circuit, pushing the front end with a Tube Screamer or Boost will give it more character. Lastly, use an EQ pedal before or after Fifths to really sculpt the sound you want from it.
