My name is Fernand J Bourgeois III, I currently live in and operate out of New Orleans, LA.
I used to tour professionally as a Lighting Designer, and Backline Tech, which led me around the world many times over, but during covid I made a pivot and took coding courses in data analytics, hoping to one day transfer those skills into DSP audio/instrument design which I am currently pursuing.
I love designing guitar pedals, but lately I’ve been exploring digital audio processing in sampler and synth design.
I write and record music under the name FJ Bourgeois, primarily as a finger-style ambient guitarist.
I've been exploring with pedals for a while now, building out of necessity for my own board like many others have. I love experimenting with parts to get something as unique as possible. I design everything myself from conception to the final product, as well as breadboarding, testing, assembling, and packaging everything by hand.
I put tons of hours into this because I love it, and I love being a part of the community. I strive to build as good of a product as I can with a uniqueness that is my own and speaks of my experiences.
