Vindicator
Vindicator
by JDM Pedals
The Vindicator is an unbeatable combo of vintage pedal circuits in a single 125B enclosure. Drench your guitar with Tonebender colored fuzz and pin it to the wall with a focused Rangemaster boost.
The Vindicator's fuzz side takes the classic Tone Bender MK2 fuzz and gives you control of the harmonic content and sustain with a bias control. A gain cut toggle lets you cool off the input sensitivity, making this fuzz work better with humbuckers, high output pickups, and even bass guitar.
Adding a "Range" control to the classic Rangemaster boost circuit lets you adjust from the beloved "Beano" boost to the insidious Iommi full-range boost, pushing your amp into natural overdrive.
Conjure an incredible range of fuzz and boost sounds from mild and creamy to just plain rude.
We assemble The Vindicator by hand, using vintage European and Soviet-era germanium transistors. Built for standard negative ground power, it can share a power supply with all your other pedals. Battery power is possible with a standard 9v battery.
Our pedals are handmade, tuned, tested, and tweaked for optimal tone -transistor selection is of paramount importance.
The JDM Vindicator Features:
125B enclosure, Top Jacks
True bypass switching
Alpha pots, Lumberg Jacks, heavy-duty switches.
Powder coated enclosure, UV printed graphics.
Operates on standard +9vDC power supply / center negative -aka “Boss Style Power Supply” (not included) or 9v battery (not included). Power consumption approx 10mA.
“Rangemaster” circuit includes Boost and EQ knobs – EQ knob allows you to dial in a classic treble boost, a full-range boost, and varying degrees in between.
The Tonebender MK2 style circuit includes Fuzz, Bias, and Volume (Output) for an incredible range of fuzz sounds from mild and creamy to just plain rude.
A small toggle switch near the power jack lets you kick in a pregain cut that tames the intense gain of the fuzz circuit, making it more suitable for humbuckers or for stacking with other drive pedals.

From The Builder:
Thanks for checkin out JDM Pedals. I started off building pedals many moons ago because I "kinda liked" the classic circuits, but wanted a few things different. So step by step, and with lots of feedback from customers since 2011, we've been adding a little sumpin extra as we go. Each of our pedals has a unique voice. They're known to be rather sticky - once you get a JDM on your board, it sticks.
