Hairbender
Hairbender
by Droning Brightness
Hairbender is a silicon version of the classic Tone Bender mk II. The top section are bias and output volume controls, while the bottom section contains the "attack" and tone controls. Sometimes silicon is just as good and don't let the mojo folks and germanium purists tell you otherwise, this tone bender rips, and the bias and attack controls offer a ton of variation from velcro psychedelia to heavy doom.
Hairbender is the second in a series of pedals that explore classic fuzz/drive circuit topology as well as experimentation with engraved wooden top panels. Each build will have a unique, one of a kind top panel design.
9v dc center negative power operation.

From The Builder:
Droning Brightness is the chosen moniker for all current artistic and creative endeavors created by me, Keith. I lean heavily on the DIY ethos when designing and building pedals, particularly when it comes to enclosure graphics and aesthetics. In a sense, pedal building has become an arts practice for me, and the process is very fulfilling and rewarding. My goal is to continue circuit exploration for unique, gnarly fuzzes, quirky and unorthodox effect combinations, and experiment with new ways to embellish enclosures.
