Ziggurat Sustainer
Ziggurat Sustainer
by Droning Brightness
The Ziggurat Sustainer is an adaptation of the Pharaoh fuzz by Black Arts Tone Works.
My version does away with the high and low input selector as well as the germanium and silicon clipping diode selector. Additionally, the ziggurat sustainer has two MOSFET gain stages, one on each end of the circuit.
Inside the pedal there are two trim pots that can be used to adjust the gain of each MOSFET. Doom for days.
9v dc center negative power operation.

From The Builder:
Droning Brightness is the chosen moniker for all current artistic and creative endeavors created by me, Keith. I lean heavily on the DIY ethos when designing and building pedals, particularly when it comes to enclosure graphics and aesthetics. In a sense, pedal building has become an arts practice for me, and the process is very fulfilling and rewarding. My goal is to continue circuit exploration for unique, gnarly fuzzes, quirky and unorthodox effect combinations, and experiment with new ways to embellish enclosures.
