Meet Claw & Order Overdrive —a pint-sized overdrive pedal with serious bite, born from the claws of chaos and the paws of passion. Underneath its hand-illustrated shell lies a classic 3-knob overdrive circuit inspired by the mythical beast of tone—the Klon. It delivers the mid-push, clarity, and harmonic growl that players crave, with enough flexibility to run it as a transparent boost or as your always-on tone sweetener.
At its core, you’ll find Gain, Treble, and Output controls. Keep the gain low and let your amp shine, or turn it up for that signature thick drive with articulate highs and natural compression. The treble control gives you precise control over the high-end bite—perfect for cutting through or smoothing out.
Housed in a compact mini enclosure, it’s made to fit comfortably on even the most crowded pedalboards. But what truly sets it apart is its one-of-a-kind finish. Each unit has been clawed, scratched, and illustrated by Tonecat himself (with minimal human interference), with hand-drawn artwork that wraps around the front and side panels of the enclosure. No two pedals are the same—each one is a functioning piece of feline mischief and visual art.
Every pedal is also hand-signed by Tonecat, and ships with love, mystery, and probably a few stray cat hairs from the Tonecat home in Melbourne.
“I scratched the first one and they just... kept making more.” - Mr. Tonecat.

About The Builder:Â
TONECAT are clawed into existence in Melbourne, Australia—where curiosity, chaos, and a love of tone collide. Each pedal is dreamt up by a small team (one hooman plus two demanding felines) and built by hand with a mix of precision, silliness, and sonic obsession. Whether it’s weird, wild, crafty or just plain odd—we make stuff we’d want to play ourselves.
Thanks for checking us out and supporting little makers doing big things. "Your tone’s in good paws now. Because our tone always landed on four feet" - Mr. Tonecat
